The good folks over at the racing-focused ImportRace channel on YouTube are still not back at their usual venue - Island Dragway in Great Meadows, New Jersey, but they continue their reports from BMP and MIR.
The videographer seems content to pendulate between Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, and Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, Maryland. We are grateful for that because the action has been quite interesting, both in terms of drag and roll racing.

For example, we have seen a rare Acura NSX race the Chevy Camaro SS, Ford Mustang GT, and even a feisty Audi RS 3; then a Porsche 911 Turbo S watched as someone narrowly averted a big disaster when racing another Mustang but also a Dodge Charger and BMW M5 just to jump from MIR to BMP for a few digs performed by the mighty Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 against a turbo V8-swapped Honda S2000, a crazy modded Audi R8, and an older Camaro.

Now they're back at MIR, initially with a 1,100-hp R35 Nissan GT-R going head-to-head with a BMW M3 and a 2,500-hp Lamborghini Huracan but still coming on top. The skirmishes at Maryland International Raceway are all part of the latest RaceMotive event, which combines drag races with 65-mph roll action.

If you're into the latter variety, the latest excerpt from MIR is focused again on something cool – a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat rocking a crimson body paint mixed with a contrasting black hood and black wheels plus rear window louvers. It almost looks like a Demon with that wide air scoop – but there are no widebody fender flares.

Anyway, the first opponent of the day is the traditional S550 Ford Mustang GT, and sure enough, the poor Blue Oval representative gets rolled into submission after an inaugural 152 mph versus 138 mph victory. Secondly, the General Motors task force sent a crimson-shaded C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to the track, but it, too, got more than it could handle – hence the 132 mph versus 144 mph loss.

Next up, it's all Mopar because a small-intake, non-louvered Dodge Challenger appears and snatches a 'close encounters of the third kind' victory: 158 mpg versus 156 mph. Last but not least, an S550 Ford Mustang Mach 1 also begged to differ that this mighty Challenger could roll over everything, and also, rocking a red-and-black livery, it taught the Mopar driver an important 156 mph versus 151 mph lesson at MIR.
