Fortunately, the image sitting before us is a mere rendering, one that depicts the 2020 Toyota Supra with a hellaflush makeover. However, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see the Mk V Supra being touched by this automotive subculture.
There's no rush to do this, really. For now, aftermarket developers wishing to touch the appearance of the Japanese sportscar can focus on bits like body kits and generously-sized wings.

In fact, here's an example of a Pandem aero pack for the new Supra, which comes from Kei Miura, the same man behind the arguably better known Rocket Bunny kit.

However, once all sorts of far fenders and racing-grade rear hatch aero are installed on the Toyota, we might just see at least a few aficioandos taking the Supra down the dreaded hellaflush route, simply because it would help them stand out - one should never underestimate the desire to turn heads fingers on social media these days.

So, what exactly is this hell... thing?

Well, the name actually makes more sense when coming in two pieces, since the car affected by such treatments look hella' flush.

Basically, we're talking about a mic between a microscopic ground clearance and ridiculous negative camber, possibly along with rims that feature uber-fat lips and whose nature is emphasized by stretching smaller tires over them.

This trend started gaining serious popularity earlier in the decade, but it's not just wrong because its visual results might hurt one's eye.

In fact, this kind of suspension geometry can lead to hazardous handling, thus leading to serious safety risks.

As for the said ground clearance, some cars belonging to this subculture use air suspension (note the tag on the Instagram post showcasing this Supra), while others actually sit so low at all times, which can obviously mean that, for instance, any rock on the road has a chance of putting a hole in one's fuel lines (fire!fire!).

Thus, it's no surprise that the authorities over in Quebec have decided to ban hellaflush vehicles and here's to hoping that such fantasies remain confined to the screen.
