Harley-Davidson Sportsters are probably some of the coolest and most recognized machines, but it looks like there's still an enormous amount of cool to be added. And the guys at UK's Shaw Speed & Custom know only too well how to sail in these waters.
So here's a new example of how can cool turn into awesome, with only several well-thought modifications. The first thing which caught our attention was the lower height of the bars, a move with adds instant menace to almost any bike, and which provided the Sportster with a more racey, badass look.
Tossing the front fender was only natural, just like seeing SS&C doing a full reworking for the rear one. Short and aggressive, the new rear end of the bike matches the whole compact and robust attire. And obviously, the license plate holder went to the side.
One of the other cool moves was converting the final drive to a chain one, while the custom, short exhaust pipes with no silencer look as mean as they get, too. Add in a Rough Craft custom seat with diamond stitching and a racey, lively orange-matter black paint, drilled side covers and a revised air intake, plus a custom headlight cover and you're set.
