Nowadays most supercar builders don’t just throw a model on the market and leave it to face the world alone. This is why, many of these four-wheeled hyperpowered monsters get all kind of special editions. The latest supercar to enter this family enlargement program is the GTA Spano.
We are talking about the first Spanish supercar here, so not only automotive enthusiasm comes into play, but there is also a national pride included.
According to skiddmark.com, GTA Motors is planning to create an entire Spano range. To be more specific, the supercar will get a Spyder version ,that will mix its extreme level of performance with topless thrills, as well as a track-focused R incarnation, which will take the driver even further into the performance woods.
The company hasn’t offered any additional details of the future developments. We’re already dreaming about the R version, which could become one of the fastest vehicles on the market.
We’re really waiting to see how the vehicle performs on the Nurburging. As for the Spyder version, this should also be an interesting development to follow, as we are curious to see how the carmaker’s engineers will solve the eternal extra weight/rigidity issue.
We’ll remind you that the GTA Spano uses a chassis that combines Kevlar, carbon fiber and titanium. The vehicle is powered by a V10 unit that produces 780 hp and 920 hp. The unit allows the supercar to leave the 62 mph mark behind in less than 3 seconds and offers it a top speed of 207 mph (333 km/h).
