We had not heard, until today, that is, about the Great Wall Coolbear - a Chinese car which is strikingly similar to the Scion xB, while also borrowing some styling cues from other models. We will ignore the fact that it is a blatant copy, and just focus on the tuning job.
It features pink animal print wrap for the bonnet, pink BBS(-ish) rims, a complete body kit, rear spoiler and some faux-side intakes, complete with ‘diamonds’. To complete the look, it gets a full assortment of Scion badges - it could almost fool the unweary.
Inside, it gets a rather pornographic shifter knob, some tatty-looking seat covers and more ‘diamonds’. The standard ‘Coolbear’ starts off at some 63,900 Yuan ($10,050 / €8,130) and with cheap aftermarket parts available in China, even this extensive mod could not have been that expensive - still well under what an actual Scion xB would cost, though.
