Gran Turismo 6 may be scheduled to arrive just in time for Christmas (in early December), but it seems that we can already look to the next installment of the franchise. If all goes well, Gran Turismo 7 will arrive in 2014.
Kazunori Yamauchi, the father of Gran Turismo, had a little chat with Top Gear at the LA Auto Show, revealing that his team is prepared for a launch next year. Of course, he did mention that the schedule isn’t final yet, as this is the best case scenario.
Even Captain Obvious knows that, unlike NFS episodes, new Gran Turismo games make full sense. However, Number 7 will be even more special.
As Kazunori explains, they’ve had to refrain themselves from giving us the full racing madness in GT6 due to the limitations of the PlayStation 3 platform. GT7 will be launched on PlayStation 4, so we’ll see an increase in all areas of the game, from graphics to driving dynamics.
Our say: you’d better stash some vacation days, you’ll need some spare time for this experience.
