Someone was willing to pay more than $25 million for a six-year-old luxury yacht, but it makes sense. This stunning luxury toy with sharp, masculine lines combines the world-famous Italian DNA of Baglietto with a sumptuous configuration designed to be family-friendly. Plus, the original owner made sure to keep it in the best shape possible since the Silver Fox was also operated as a charter yacht.
The original owner bought Silver Fox right before its official debut at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show. Italian heritage was the first thing on his list, along with a sporty style for family adventures. Plus, he wasn't willing to wait approximately three years like most superyacht owners who are willing to have their custom toys built from scratch.

Baglietto is one of the biggest names when it comes to Italian superyacht craftsmanship, so it definitely ticked the "Italian heritage" box. Francesco Paszkowski, the shipyard's long-time collaborator, has designed some of the most spectacular luxury yachts in operation. Some of the Baglietto yachts were even custom-built for celebrities, like Ability (originally built for fashion icon Roberto Cavalli). Second, the Silver Fox was already completed at the time of the sale because it had been built "on speculation."

Unlike custom yachts that are built to the exact specifications of the future owners, those built on spec typically find their owner during the construction process or soon after. The brand's CEO, Michele Gavino, was personally involved in developing the design brief, which was also heavily based on the company's customer feedback. In other words, they built something that most customers would love.

Silver Fox was hull no.2 in Baglietto's T-Line 48 series, but different than the first hull, Andiamo. The series was created in response to an experienced owner who wanted a beefed-up version of the Baglietto 46 line. Silver Fox took things even further than Andiamo. The biggest upgrade was the addition of a lavish beach club, which implied a relocation of the tender garage.

The 156-footer flaunted a gorgeous beach club with access to a fully-equipped gym and steam room. The sundeck was equally impressive, unfolding over 459 square feet (42.6 square meters). It was cleverly furnished with modular items so that it could easily switch from sunbathing to open-air yoga to dancing and partying. The infinity pool forward was also truly spectacular thanks to the unique views of the water. As for accommodation, the flexible layout included three double cabins and two convertible cabins, enough for up to 12 guests.

Six years is a decent amount of time to hold on to a luxury enjoy and enjoy what it has to offer. Unlike other serial yacht owners who part with their toys after only a year or two, Silver Fox's original owner gave it enough time to show what it could do.

Six years after its debut, this Italian yacht was still impressive enough to fetch the hefty sum of €24,5 million ($26.2 million). Plus, one charter week on board starts at $300,000 in high season, so it could also be considered a wise investment. The Silver Fox is still at the beginning of its career, and its Italian pedigree guarantees it will also age well.
