GMC announced that it will continue to offer support to the NFL, as is will sponsor the 75th NFL Draft, scheduled to take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York, on April 22, with the GMC Sierra being the official vehicle of the National Football League.
“Nothing exemplifies GMC’s characteristics of professional grade like the National Football League,” said Craig Bierley, Director, Buick GMC Advertising and Sales Promotion. “We are proud to expand on our current relationship as The Official Vehicle of the NFL to become a sponsor of the 2010 NFL Draft, and are looking forward to give fans a chance to be able to experience the NFL Draft first-hand.”
As part of the sponsorship agreement, GMC will receive front and center advertising space during the three days of the draft, using print, television and online ads. GMC will also have an important presence in New York City, as the brand will reach consumers at the ESPN Zone in Manhattan.
The carmaker offers fans a chance to win tickets to attend the NFL Draft, including a complete VIP experience hosted by the NFL and GMC. In addition to that, enthusiasts can enter GMC’s national sweepstakes, having a chance to win a GMC Sierra.
The 2010 draft has a special status, as it will take place in prime time for the first time ever, as the first round is scheduled for Thursday evening. The draft will be aired on TV by both ESPN and the NFL Network.
