People often forget what an incredible career George Foreman had. The man fought Muhammad Ali, for crying out loud! He also fought the likes of Joe Frazier and Evander Holyfield, and even sparred with Sonny Liston on two different occasions. Unfortunately, a lot of people only know about him today because of the so-called George Foreman Grill.
To be fair, he did earn more money from selling his naming rights (plus 40% for each grill sold) than he ever did as a professional boxer. Today, he is believed to have a net worth of roughly $300 million, which is on par with some of the wealthiest athletes in the world right now, like Kevin Durant, Phil Mickelson and Lewis Hamilton.

Now, when you’re worth that much money and you enjoy traveling in style (together with your entourage), a luxury RV of sorts is probably the way to go.

What we have here is a 45-foot-long Featherlite Vantare motorcoach, built on a 1999 Prevost H3-45 chassis. It used to belong to George Foreman up until last year when it was purchased by someone else. In turn, that person sold this thing just recently at auction for $132,000.

Visually, we’re dealing with a maroon and gold exterior featuring multi-color accents. It also comes with a power-operated patio awning, an outdoor shower, air horns, quad wipers, a receiver hitch, an outdoor entertainment center (Sony CD changer and a Panasonic TV), plus a set of 22.5” alloy wheels with Goodyear tires.

Naturally, there’s an air-adjustable suspension present, with an auto-leveling system – these types of vehicles would make little sense if they couldn’t offer an extremely smooth ride. They don’t call them “houses on wheels” for nothing.

Moving on to the interior, that’s where you’ll find the power-adjustable captain’s chairs (red leather), woodgrain trim, power-operated sun visors, a reverse-view monitor, cruise control, dual zone air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an odometer showing 60,000 miles.

Meanwhile, the living quarters come with woodgrain and tile floors, power-operated shades, ducted climate control, a total of nine beige leather captain’s chairs, an indoor entertainment center, plus a fully equipped kitchen with composite countertops, microwave oven, sink, a residential-style refrigerator, and even a beverage cabinet with custom wine glasses overhead.

At the back, there’s a bedroom with a queen bed, yet another entertainment center, a closet, built-in nightstands, and a luxury bathroom with tile flooring, gold-tone fixtures, an enclosed shower, toilet – pretty much everything you need to live a comfortable life on the road.

As for what this can do in terms of performance, well, it’s not supposed to offer any "performance". Motorcoach engines are all about torque and fuel economy. In this case, we’re dealing with a Detroit Diesel 12.7-liter turbocharged inline-six unit, sending power to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
