A little under three months from today, the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed will officially open its gates. The event, hosted in the United Kingdom, will kick off on July 11 and end three days later, and certain car manufacturers have already expressed interest in attending.
One of them is Genesis, which has three premieres, including one that is said to make its dynamic worldwide debut on the famous Hillclimb. The yet undisclosed model will be seen in action between the hay bales, and it won't be the brand's sole ride to do this, as another undisclosed vehicle will also take on the infamous course in a UK premiere. The third machine will sit under the spotlight for the first time at an event hosted in the Old Continent.

"This year, Genesis is bringing an even stronger presence to Festival of Speed to connect further with our customers," said the brand's UK director, Jonny Miller. "2024 is a busy year for the brand, and there will be plenty of surprises in store for Goodwood visitors. This world-famous event is a great opportunity for us to showcase our award-winning cars in an engaging and dynamic environment, where attendees can indulge in the full Genesis experience and discover the outstanding capability and diversity of our brand."

As we have already told you, the Korean premium car marque has chosen to keep the juicy details under wraps for now. Thus, we don't know what the aforementioned premieres are. However, we can speculate on one of them being a Magma Concept, as it seems like a potential candidate. After all, the automaker has already confirmed that it will offer a Magma version of each production vehicle, and it was only late last month when they pulled the wraps off the G80 EV Magma study during the 2024 Beijing Auto Show hosted in China.

This is the second EV in the Magma program, and it is basically a battery-electric variant of the G80 Magma Concept presented earlier in 2024. The show car featured an Acme Blue paint finish, carbon features inspired by the ones of its ICE-powered sibling, additional aero updates, a closed-off grille, a smaller ducktail spoiler, a motorsport-inspired extra brake light, 21-inch alloys, Alcantara upholstery inside, quilted leather, carbon fiber trim, and blue-colored weave that brings a touch of the exterior to the cockpit.

Genesis' chief of Global Design, SangYup Lee, hinted at a potential production variant of the G80 EV Magma Concept. However, if it materializes and gets the green light for production, then it might be limited to the Chinese market. As a result, we wouldn't hold our breath for a possible introduction in the Western world, even if we secretly wished it did, as it seems like an interesting rival to the likes of the Tesla Model S. So, what do you think the company's premieres for the 2024 Goodwood FoS are?
