Tuners from all over the world have developed quite a passing for the Porsche Cayenne and we were recently wondering when we’d get to see a fresh aftermarket development destined for the German SUV. The answer came in a bit earlier today, from German company Gemballa, which has developed a new aerodynamic kit for the second-generation Cayenne (958).
Gemballa introduced the GT Aero 1 pack for the Cayenne at the beginning of the current year and the current development is an evolution of that. Thus, it includes all the previously-released components, to which it ads wheel arch extensions and connecting side skirts. Basically, you can look at this as at a wide body release, which can be ordered on its own, or as an upgrade for the aforementioned pack.
The components are made from carbon fiber and fit the factory mounting points, so no drilling is necessary. In addiiton to that, Gemballa also added a set of 22-inch forged rims, which promise to offer the same weight as the factory 20-inch rims. For those who are limited by the budget, Gemballa also offers a cast version of the wheels.
