The tuning segment is the one where we find the most car love in the automotive industry, but we must be aware that this is still business and thus money talks. The latest example of this comes from US company Fox Marketing, which has scraped its two SEMA 2009 proposals due to financial reasons.
As you can see in the adjacent images, the custom IS-F and IS350C have been sent to the junk yard, where they have been stripped of certain parts (the company went as far as the law allowed it to) and are now waiting to be destroyed.
This happened due to the fact that both vehicles were registered as show cars and thus didn’t have a VIN or a registration plate, all in order for Lexus and Fox Marketing to avoid taxes.
However, this means that the cars can’t be sold. We’ll remind you that the Fox Marketing IS-F packs 600 hp, while the IS350 comes with 405 hp.
