Ford Expands Charity Actions in Nashville

Ford Motor Company has expanded its Nashville and Middle Tennessee charity actions, which have been debuted seven years ago and have seen the company offer a total of $6 million to non-profit organizations, as the company’s Fund and Community Services announced a $50,000 donation to Hands On Nashville.

The funds will be used to support the Nashville disaster relief efforts, as well as other community outreach activities.

The Ford Motor Credit Company Nashville Business Center has a long-standing relationship with Hands On Nashville, an organization that has been supporting volunteer activities in the community for nearly 20 years.

Ford Motor company is also offering vouchers of $750 for certain new vehicles for customers with car and trucks damaged by the recent flooding and who live in disaster areas, with the program running through June 30. In addition to that, Ford Credit is offering customers affected by the floods the option to delay some car and truck payments.

During the past two years, Ford Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company Fund have contributed more than $2 million, and more than $6 million during the past seven years, to non-profit organizations in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. These organizations include the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville Zoo, OASIS and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Other initiatives include Ford Driving Skills for Life, which offers hands-on driving clinics for teens, and Ford Partnership for Advanced Studies, which provides Nashville high schools an innovative educational model that develops critical thinking, team building and other career-relevant skills using real-world problems from fields such as business, economics and engineering,” stated the press release.
