It's only August, but we just know the cold season approaches, whether we are aware of it or not, so that's why we're bringing you news about a new helmet for riding in the cold: the Fly F2 Carbon Dubstep Snow.
Homologated for use during cold weather aboard a snowmobile, this lid can most likely be used with a motorbike. The F2 Carbon Dubstep Snow complies with the Snell M2010 and DOT standards, but it is also ECE and AS-approved, and together with the ISR-approval this makes it legal for racing pretty much anywhere in the world.
The interior is similar to the F2 moto helmets, but the exterior has a special trim for better visibility in the snow, with black racey graphics against a high-viz orange background. The shell is made from aircraft-grade carbon fiber weaved with Kevlar and backed on the inside with a dual-density EPS liner. All the hardware is made in lightweight aluminium for increased strength and comfort.
The Fly F2 Carbon Dubstep Snow is available in youth sizes S to L and in adult sizes XS through XXL. The price tag reads $299.95 (€225).
