The E92 M3 Coupe wrote history whether you like or not. It’s the last M car to be fitted with a naturally aspirated engine and the last M3 to be built in Coupe guise to name just two reasons why this is true.
However, there are some reasons why this car is more than attractive for any petrol head or enthusiast out there. The guys from Vehicle Virgins put together a small list of five reasons why they love the E92 M3 and we tend to agree with them.

Number one on their list is, of course, the S65 engine. Despite being criticized for lacking massive amounts of torque, that 4-liter V8 is a jewel. It’s lighter than its predecessor, the 3.2-liter inline 6-cylinder unit used on the E46 M3 and yet packs more horsepower (420 PS) and more torque and revs to in excess of 8,000 RPM.

All the way to that red line you’re greeted by a beautiful sound that also made this short list. To be honest, this is the best sounding M3 ever made, mostly because it’s also the only V8-powered model too.

The handling is impressive too and without all those pesky settings for the suspension and adaptive dampers. This is truly an M car as they are all loved for their dual character, allowing owners to take them to the track and also use them as daily drivers without any headaches.

We’ll also mention the fact that unlike other sport coupes, this one also allows you to use the back seats, offering plenty of room for two of your friends as well. That being said, we’ll leave the guys tell you the rest of the story in the video below.
