This weekend, we showed you some of the first (leaked) photos of the Fisker Atlantic, a car that will make its official debut tomorrow at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. Now we get to see the car from slightly different angles, including the top, where a large greenhouse surface manages to impress us with its lines.
The Atlantic going to be an EV with extended range capabilities, and reports indicate the car will use a BMW-sourced 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine as a range extender.
Right now, Fisker is in financial difficulties, but if they manage to secure new capital the Atlantic will enter production at the former GM factory in Delaware in late 2013 as a 2014 model year.
The styling of the Atlantic mid-size sedan is very interesting, but we can’t shake the feeling that the ‘eyes’ look like they are trying to look at the badge.
