Now, that's a truly nice piece of news for the cinema fans who also enjoy riding: the first annual Motorcycle Film Festival debuts September 26-28 in Brooklyn, NY.
Well, it's finally happening, after half a century! We might get to see hours of relentless footage from the golden era, and present-day video surfacing and becoming famous, or at least helping spreading the two-wheeled lifestyle even more.
The inaugural edition of the MFF comprises 5 judging categories:
Narrative Short (up to 30 minutes)
Narrative Feature (30-180 minutes)
Short (up to 30 minutes)
Feature (30-180 minutes)
Experimental (for all films that don’t fit neatly into other categories including music videos, animations, etc.)
Since the word got out rather late and the latest deadline was August 23 (postmarked), it looks like the glorious video you recorded during the past two weeks will only be eligible for the next edition of the Motorcycle Film Festival.
However, if you're into movies and bikes, make sure to check the Motorcycle Film Festival webpage for updates. For tickets and schedule, please follow his link.
