Despite its unveiling being announced for the Los Angeles Auto Show, which is set to take place later this month, Fiat’s all-electric 500, the 500e, has gotten its first official pictures - two of them, one showing the interior, and one the exterior.
At first glance, the the 500e looks very similar to its conventionally-powered counterpart, except for the strong orange paint finish, new wheels, front bumper and side skirts. Inside, the white and orange theme continues, and the only notable difference is the absence of the gear lever, which has been replaced by buttons, to control the drive of the electric powertain.
Fiat has released absolutely no details about it, aside from the fact that it is getting officially premiered on November 18th, on the ‘green carpet’ of the American Music Awards, this Sunday, and it will be first shown to the public at the Los Angeles International Auto Show (LAIAS) 2012 towards the end of the month.
