Riva, the Italian boat manufacturer, part of the Ferretti Group, has unveiled their latest yacht model, the 88 Miami. Scheduled to have its official premiere in early 2015, this luxury boat featuring a 2,433 horsepower engine perfectly blends an open-top speedster and a coupe into one single vessel.
Considered to be a successor to the Riva Bahamas model, the first one created entirely by Mauro Micheli (the company’s designer) this vessel brings cutting-edge innovation. Besides its exclusivist design, it features an Convertible Top, which makes the vessel a multifunctional yacht. The “convertible” is able to transform into an open or a coupe with one single and easy movement.
As to the interior of the boat, it has enough room for four cabins and four en-suite heads, decorated in a vintage style reminiscent of the company’s 80 and 90s ships. The hull number 1 will be completed and launched by the end of this year, while its official world premiere is scheduled to take place in the first months of 2015.
The top offers three different functions into one single system, due to the function that handles the aerodynamic hard top. This luxury water vehicle will take 20 people aboard and run them with a top speed of 38.5 knots (44.3 mph/ 71 kmh). Now that is what you call highlife cruising, don’t you? Oh well...
