Ferrari Rendering Is a Drug

As you may know, Ferrari isn’t quite going through its best period these days. This is because the company’s owner Fiat seems to be trying to get rid of it. And then there’s the current F1 season, which has only seen Ferrari claim the third place. We know that economically we can’t speak of a direct connection, but we're using a brand image point of view here. We won’t even mention the Luca di Montezemolo issue, as this is another story.

All these negative aspects have made us think at the carmaker’s future. And, in an instant, we became optimistic. This is because, regardless of things that can be considerent side issues for the spirit of the marque, Ferrari has always managed to offer an unique feeling.

This is why, we decided to look for a virtual creation that wears the prancing horse logo and can be used for a meditation session linked to the carmaker. We’ve chosen a creation that has no connection to the company’s current DNA, so that our minds can really be free.

However, using such a design that would ditch all the heritage elements means that the car would really need to come with an excellent package to shine. Actually, this seems like an interesting challenge for engineers. To be more precise, the company’s specialist could be asked to give birth to a car that feels like a Ferrari, even though it doesn’t look like one.

We must thank Sasha Selipanov for designing the virtual creation and deviantart user Samirs for rendering it.
