Ferrari recently introduced the convertible version of their mighty 458 Italia, but some of you might remember that their first four-wheel drive GT is also a relatively new, and also very innovative.
The Maranello automaker has now launched the new FF in South Korea, home of the Kia and also one of the fastest growing markets in the Asian region. FMK Corporation, the official importer for Ferrari in Korea, held what it calls exciting launch event for the new FF at Banyan Tree Club & Spa, a luxurious five-star resort located in downtown Seoul, announcing that it will officially start sales of the FF in Korea.
In Europe, we usually get a couple of models, and a big tarp that gets pulled off, but the Koreans went all out. The launch kicked off with the traditional Korean welcoming music and parade known as ‘Cheeta’, a fanfare of traditional trumpets and Korean drums. We have to say that there has never been a stranger launch for a supercar, short of some sci-fi movie. It’s like launching a new BMW with help for the indians in America.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your strong passion and support for Ferrari over the past years and we are confident that you will all appreciate the sensational new FF,” Mr Young-Sik Kim, acting CEO of FMK Corporation. “The high-performance FF is the most practical and luxurious model in the history of the Ferrari brand. It asserts what the ‘Extreme GT’ is all about.”
