With the 2024 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 11-14) being right around the corner, several major players in the car industry have already announced their presence at the exquisite UK event. Ferrari is one of them, and it has multiple vehicles that will take on the famous hillclimb.
Skilled drivers will put no fewer than 26 exotics made by the Prancing Horse over the years through their paces between the haystacks. Six of them will celebrate their local dynamic debut, including the Roma Spider, 812 Competizione A, SF90 XX Spider, SP-8, 499P Modificata, and 296 Challenge.

Derived from the 296 GTB, the latter packs a read mid-engine powertrain and offers "both professional and gentlemen drivers a car that delivers exceptional responsiveness, excellent performance, and unmatched handling." The 499P Modificata debuted last year and builds on the Le Mans racer. The track-only model will join the 296 Challenge on Goodwood Hill. The SP-8 mentioned above has been entered by a private client and boasts numerous unique touches.

The SF90 XX Spider needs no introduction as it is based on the SF90 XX Stradale, which is the fastest-ever production model at the Fiorano racetrack. The Roma Spider brings a twin-turbo V8 to the powertrain party and offers "a perfect balance between comfort and enjoyment." Last but not least, the 812 Competizione A will also put its money where its mouth is on the Goodwood Hill, rounding off Ferrari's UK dynamic debuts at the event.

An extensive list of 20 other Ferraris from the brand's past and present days, including multiple racers, will also feast on apexes during the 2024 Goodwood FoS, and in case you missed it, the Italian automaker has one major brand-new model missing from the event. Did you say 12Cilindri? Well, you certainly know your Prancing Horses if you did, as the 812's successor was not mentioned in the official press release, meaning that it won't arrive at Goodwood.

Unveiled in early May, it is the brand's newest and most exciting front-engined GT. It stays true to the V12 legacy of its predecessors, as it packs a 6.5L naturally aspirated unit under its long hood. The mill is said to have been significantly upgraded, and it has a 9,500-rpm redline. As mentioned above, it doesn't feature any turbocharging or electric assistance, so it sits in a different league compared to what should've been one of its biggest challengers in the segment: the Lamborghini Revuelto.

Ferrari's 12Cilindri enjoys 818 hp (830 ps/610 kW) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque, taking 2.9s to 62 mph (100 kph) and tapping out at over 211 miles an hour (340 kph). Unfortunately, this model won't scream its lungs out at the Goodwood Hillclimb, but there's plenty of time to see it in action in an official environment.
