Ready to feel old AF? The Ferrari Enzo ended its 498-unit production run nearly 20 years ago. Yup, that childhood pin-up poster hero you probably grew up with is now so old it's practically a classic. But with age comes an entirely new set of problems, unlike the ones that brought Enzo to life in the first place. Who's supposed to supply the custom-tooled and chunky tires native to the Enzo and it alone once the originals start going bald?
Turns out, the answer is Pirelli. We know, shocker there. But apart from a no-brainer collaboration between the two Italian automotive juggernauts, the new Pirelli P Zero Corsa System tire is also a fundamental leap in how aging hypercars are maintained. As the sole tire ever manufactured specifically to replace the OEM units fitted to Enzos, these new Pirelli tires are engineered not just to have the same track performance as an Enzo straight from the factory in 2004 but to do so with even more refinement and sustainability in mind.

Measuring 245/40 R17 in the front and 335/35 R17 in the back, even the lettering on the tire wall is specially manufactured to replicate the OEM rubber that came with Enzos from the factory back in the 2000s. All the while, Ferrari also gave the all-clear for P Zero Corsa System tires to be sold as aftermarket replacements for OEM Enzos, as well as for its older siblings, the F50 and F40. Depending on who you talk to, some even say these older flagship Ferraris are even better to drive than the Enzo or anything made afterward.

For owners of these timeless-classic Ferraris who desire to do more than sit on them and do nothing with them for years, those who want to drive an F40, F50, or Enzo every once in a while will find the OEM after-purchase support network does a fine job of keeping their machines intact with as little downtime as possible. Even with Enzos that sport double-digit readouts on the odometer, OEM tires left to sit for years, if not decades, will see levels of tire rot that make these vehicles unsafe to drive quickly.

By supplying an approved set of rubber designed just for these vehicles and not a single one besides, owners who drop seven or even eight figures on their flagship Ferraris can rest easy knowing they won't blow a tire barreling down the corkscrew at Laguna Seca, and bury their shiny investment in a retainer wall that significantly increases the rate of depreciation. For this reason, millionaires and billionaires of the world owe the Ferrari OEM aftermarket support team a tremendous deal of gratitude. Lest they have to resort to driving a normal person's car for a change, the thought must be horrifying.
