HRE has recently released a photo shoot of a Ferrari 458 Italia wearing one of its most important goodies, the company’s vintage wheels. The project was inspired by the Pininfarina P4/5, but of course, this is at an extremely smaller scale, as the rims are the only mod brought to this Prancing Horse.
The supercar has been gifted with a set of HRE 505 Vintage wheels, which uses a modular three-piece construction and are made of aerospace-grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum. The rims also use ARP high strength stainless-steel fasteners, but you can also go for titanium ones.
We have to explain that each set of wheels is tailored to suit the customer’s specific car. For example, the wheels you see on the 458 in the adjacent images were adapter to it and then the owner clocked 6,000 (9,660 km) miles using them.
