Having a Ferrari doesn't make you a better driver, and that's a fact we've already established on several other occasions.
The trouble with these expensive supercars is that they can turn into a pile of useless metal (or carbon fiber if you want) in just a second if handled improperly. And when there's a wet surface involved, the result is quite predictable.
In this case, the scenario is as simple as it gets. A Ferrari 458 driver tries to overtake a passenger car on an Italian highway near Bari, loses control unexpectedly and crashes in the protective wall ruining the car's front end. Talk about throwing over $100,000 down the drain…
Lucky for us, the guy that was driving the passenger car got the hole thing on his phone camera and posted it on Youtube. Ironically, he has the Ferrari badge all over his seat belts, so it must have been a little painful for him as well.
We don't know whether the Ferrari driver was injured in the crash, but the 458 looks like it needs a time consuming rhinoplasty.
