Driving a car quickly, especially a modern car, is not that difficult any more. Plant your foot deep into the throttle and you’re off. Sadly, most people drive their cars quickly in an unsafe fashion and, especially on German highways, it can lead to tragedies.
So to is the case with the Ferrari 612 shown in the pictures. It is said that the V12-powered super-coupe crashed into slow moving traffic, and by the looks of it, the driver didn’t really brake that much before impact. Unfortunately, the two people in the car the Ferrari slammed into were sadly killed. The 57 year-old driver of the Ferrari and his 28 year-old female passenger were fine, however he is probably going to face some criminal charges after the event.
It is highly unfortunate that such events happen. But it is a side effect of our ‘modern’ and ‘civilized’ society. Money doesn’t always buy you common sense or driving skills and we have any number of examples to, sadly, prove it.
