Indonesian subsidiary PT Toyota Astra Motor has recently unveiled an updated version of the Fortuner midsize SUV for the local market.
The facelifted Fortuner now wears a more aggressive front bumper with lower daytime running lights, slightly redesigned chrome grille and scooped hood.
Also, the high-end TRD Sportivo version gets a black finished front grille, redesigned alloy wheels, new infotainment system and other small details.
The engines are all carryovers, having to chose between a 2.7-liter gasoline and a 2.5-liter diesel unit, along with two gearboxes available - 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic.
Pricing for the updated model starts at INR24.16 lakhs and can escalate up to INR29.19 lakhs, representing an increase of INR4,270, respectively INR29,000 for the top model.
