For a second time in a little over six months, the largest, heaviest and currently most expensive Mercedes-Benz in the Germans' ever-increasing lineup is getting a price bump.
The first one happened around November of last year, when the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 had its starting price increased from EUR 451,010 including VAT to no less than EUR 455,770 including VAT, both of which being prices in Germany.
Now, if meanwhile you were one of the lucky buggers who had saved up all that moolah in order to buy a six-wheeled behemoth of your own, you will probably be slightly disappointed to find out that the MY 2015 G 63 AMG 6x6 will be available from EUR 456,900.50, including VAT.
In other words, the most expensive Mercedes-Benz in the current lineup just became more expensive by a little over a thousand Euros, but you should also learn that the base equipment is a bit richer as well.
For example, MB Passion reports that the 2015 three-axle AMG now comes in standard with a heated windshield, as well as heated and auto-dimming exterior rearview mirrors – just in case anyone cares what is going on behind the over-three-tons beast.
As some of you know, the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 is unsurprisingly six-wheel drive, has five locking differentials and is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter V8 with 544 hp and 740 Nm (561 lb ft) of torque.
Oh, and you can inflate or deflate its off-road tires using on-board buttons, meaning that most surfaces represent no barrier for the bonkers six-wheeled off-roader. Now, off to fill the piggy-bank even more.
