Earlier on we showed you a set of spyshots with the interior of the upcoming second generation of the Mercedes-Benz GLK – photos which seem to have been taken with the knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz test driver at the wheel.
Now it's time to offer you another premiere, as our spy photographers have managed to catch another camouflaged GLK X205 pre-production prototype that's a bit more interesting than the ones spied again and again before.
As you can see in the adjacent photos, the car in question is sporting a right hand drive configuration, finally confirming that the second generation of the GLK will also be offered in countries like the UK or Australia (the current GLK X204 is offered in Japan in left had drive for some reason, ed).
Daimler's R&D chief Thomas Webber had hinted at such news back when the current GLK was first launched, then saying that it was a mistake not to re-engineer the 4Matic all-wheel drive system for RHD countries as well and that the problem will be fixed in the future. Looks like he is a man of his word.
