Starting June 25, the world's most played over-the-top urban chaos simulator, Grand Theft Auto Online, is getting an action-packed update called "Bottom Dollar Bounties." The trailer features a returning fan-favorite Stranger/Freak character, Maude Eccles, from GTA V. If the name doesn't ring a bell, she was the NPC that gave Trevor bounties. New exciting vehicles also join the fray.
When she was young, Maude Eccles wanted to be a cheerleader, but at some point, she discovered she had a "burnin' passion for justice," as she puts it. Thus, she did the most sensible thing one can do in that situation: move into a trailer in a small rural town (Grapeseed) to impart bounties to those brave enough to carry them out.

Since then, she started the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement agency, but now, she can't handle the business like she used to, and she's looking for a replacement to run the organization. Her legacy of putting felons behind bars must carry on, and this is where you come in. In the GTA Online: Bottom Dollar Bouties update, you will work with her daughter, Janette, to keep the business alive and put those who deserve it behind bars in the name of justice.

Doing so will require special equipment and vehicles. Thus, you'll be using new additions, as spotted by the keen eye of @NeedForMadnessA from X/Twitter. The Hyundai N Vision 74 joins GTA Online for the first time, a vehicle that has recently gained increasing popularity in racing games. Another great one is the Mercedes Benz E-Class W124, one of the brand's most successful nameplates in history. Between 1984 and 1997, Mercedes produced 2.7 million units. The '87 E-Class model was the first to feature the then-brand-new all-wheel drive 4Matic system.

Another great spot is the Bentley Batur speeding away from an explosive car chase involving helicopters armed with rockets. The Batur by Mulliner is so rare, that you might even call it unique, given that only 18 people out of 8.1 billion will ever get their hands on one. In addition, the personalization features are only limited by the buyer's restraint and imagination, so each might turn out to be unique. Mulliner will do all the assembly at its base of operations in Crewe, England, with each model taking roughly four months to complete.

The Overflod Pipistrello and a new Burrito are joining the fray, while the trailer also features returning "characters" with new liveries like the Police Dorado, Police Greenwood, and Police Impaler.

GTA+ members will get the Overflod Pipistrello for free. The model is based on the real-life 2023 2,012-hp Automobili Estrema Fulminea EV. Only 61 units will ever be created, which is probably why it's worth around $2,213,060 with a $5,368 or 5,000-Euro reservation fee. For that amount of cash, it doesn't disappoint. It can reach 200 mph or 320 kph from a standstill in under 10 seconds. The 100 kWh battery pack is good for 323 miles or 520 kilometers.

Speaking of hypercars, maybe one day we'll see the 2026 Bugatti Tourbillon PHEV, with its V16 engine and three permanent magnet synchronous motors producing 1,775 hp or 1,800 ps and 1,195 pound-feet or 1,620 Nm of torque. The real-life version costs north of $4,000,000, which should be interesting GTA$-wise.

The Declasse Burrito is a van inspired by the 1996-2002 Chevrolet Express. Aside from looking like a typical news van from every 1990s drama movie, it doesn't do much unless you count its 90.75 mph or 146.05 kph top speed. Oh, there is one more thing! You can't currently purchase it in GTA Online or store it as a personal vehicle.

The trailer shows the police variant of the Bravado Dorada, a vehicle based on the real-life first-gen Dodge Durango. An unnamed Police Greenwood, modeled after the 1977-1978 Dodge Monaco, also makes an appearance.

Lastly, the Police Impaler made its way into the short 30-second video. The Declasse Impaler SZ is a rare combination between the '94-'96 Chevy Impala SS and the 4th-gen Chevy Caprice.

The update goes hand-in-hand with the latest Drift and Drag Racing additions, especially because participating will earn you three times the rewards. Rockstar Games boasts that players will be able to equip "a trio of classic vehicles" with the Drift Tuning Kit eligibility.

When it hits on June 25, the Bottom Dollar Bounties update will be available on gaming hardware platforms like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online are behemoths of entertainment products, certainly among the top five ever made. So far, Take-Two Interactive Software has earned over $10 billion (yes, with a B) since September 2013 when GTA V initially launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

With the apparently set-in-stone fall 2025 release window of Grand Theft Auto VI, Strauss Zelnick and his lovable gang of misfits from Rockstar Games seem to have a brighter future than ever. Given the franchise's popularity, GTA 6 will likely make anywhere between $3-5 billion from preorders alone, if not more.
