You're about to watch an Audi R8 Plus, one of the most dynamic cars ever made in Germany, struggle to keep up with the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918. As far as epic amateur videos go, we struggle to believe there's ever going to be another one like this.
The guy responsible for this video is none other than supercar spotting personality Shmee150. His selfie-style intros are a bit annoying and so is the fact that his name is written on the collar of the shirt. But the fact of the matter is the videos he makes are some pretty entertaining clips that are sometimes more interesting than what you see on Top Gear.
Case in point: while Clarkson and the gang have driven up the Stelvio Pass and witnessed the might of the P1 and 918 first hand, they never combined all thee into one ear-gasmic experience.
Stelvio is located in the Italian Alps and is said to be the greatest driving road in the world. A ribbon of asphalt draped over a mountain, as some have called it, it's as dramatic as it is dangerous to drive fast on. The best part about it is that it's in Italy. And unlike the Swiss neighbors, the Italians love speed and understand a road like this needs to be experienced.
Mind you, two of the cars in our video are all-wheel drive, so they're a little safer. But ironically, the most powerful of the lot isn't. That's right, the 918 hp McLaren P1 sends the power from its V8 engine and electric motor straight to the back axle.
