The word “rally” has a much wider use than just the motorsport competition everybody thinks about when hearing it and we’re only speaking about automotive-related subjects here. What do we mean by that? It’s simple: supercar rallies! You know, the events where a lot of ultra-fast automotive creations come to serve miles of fast roads together.
The next event of this kind is the 2011 Dodgeball Rally, which is scheduled to kick off on June 16 at the InterContinental London Park Lane and will come to an end on June 19th in Saint Tropez.
Organizers are making efforts to keep things as safe as possible, so the first stop of this year’s edition of the event will take the participants to a location that allows them to stretch their vehicles’ wheels: Biggin Hill Airport.
The next highlight of the route will be the champagne area in France, with the supercars subsequently set to be... driven in a decent manner in Northern Switzerland near Zurich. Of course, after that, the participants will be able to enjoy inspiring mountain roads and will go through the famous Stelvio Pass.
As you know, this kind of events also relies on badass parties to keep the status high and this one won’t make any exception. Want an example: after going though the aforementioned locations, everybody will spend the night in Venice. The overpowered “convoy” will then get to Saint Tropez via Monaco, so you can imagine the fun they’ll have.
