In case you still haven't heard about a company aptly named Apocalypse Manufacturing, which builds 6x6 trucks, it's time to get your automotive stuff in order because you're missing out on something truly exotic.
Apocalypse 6x6 has a massive roster following a fruitful 2023: Hellfire, Juggernaut, Nirvana, Strikeforce, Warlord, Sinister 6, Super-Truck, and Dark Horse 6x6, just to name a few – mostly based on the Jeep Gladiator, Ram 1500 TRX, and the Ford Bronco, with a few exceptions. But they're always adding something new to the lineup.
For example, just recently, we heard that Drake just added a $200k Apocalypse 6x6 truck to his fleet to go with his new $15 million ranch – according to the rumor mill, the well-known rapper is reportedly thinking about a part-time move to Texas, so a 6x6 super-truck seemingly built to withstand even the end of the world is a very appropriate choice.
Apocalypse's vehicles have also gotten starring roles in Hollywood or social media's viral stunts – but the company recently decided to conquer one last playing field: overlanding. They presented their take on the 6x6 overlander, of course, which is another of their custom Jeep Gladiator modifications (either the Sinister 6 or a HellFire), which was modified for "sleeping under the stars" and then also taken to the next level of potential adventures.
More precisely, the slanted rear has a built-in TV, a functional shower, a power generator, a roof rack with awning, an air mattress, a propane-fueled grill, water canisters, AC ventilation for the camper, ladder, a weather-proof interior, and many additional goodies. A great partner for hunting and fishing expeditions, its stealthy camouflage livery might come in handy there, although the desert-tan wheels shod in massive all-terrain tires might make a "bit" of noise when moving around.
Sadly, back then, the company didn't list a price for the rig and also presented it in the studio's aseptic environment. No worries, now the 6x6 overlander has received a fitting name – it's called the 'Conqueror' package, has a $149,999 starting price, and Apocalypse also got around to going a little camping and braving the wilderness for a cool photo shoot. What do you think? Is it worth it?
Wait, let us suppose you don't want camping or overlanding adventures. In that case, the company also has other ideas – the Apocalypse HellFire 6x6 has room for seven people onboard and will stand out in any crowd (including the wrong ones) with its crazy Brimstone paint job mixed with chrome wheels fitted with 40-inch tires. Is this a yay or a nay (the second vehicle embedded below)?
