What you’re looking at here is a $398,000 car with over $48,000 in options. Of course, four years have passed since this Bentley Mulsanne Speed’s MSRP was met, and now that it’s got nearly 11,000 miles on the clock, the highest anybody’s been willing to bid for it has been $159,000. The seller, a dealership out of Vista Santa Rosa, California, said “no thanks”.
Should they have sold though? My feeling is that maybe you could fetch a little bit more, since the spec is borderline incredible, but for instance, I'm not sure $200k is attainable. Speed-spec Mulsanne models usually sell for around $150k - $160k on the used car market, especially cars that aren’t particularly “low-mileage”.

Sure, we have seen a couple of newer Mulsanne Speed models listed for over $200,000, but they had maybe one or two thousand miles on the clock, not 10,711, as is the case here. But hey, maybe somebody can tell ‘The Weeknd’ about this car, since he seems particularly fond of the Mulsanne – he could have chosen any other car for that rhyme in ‘Starboy’. You know what I’m talking about.

Anyway, let’s take a closer look at this car’s specs, starting with the exterior. The colorway is called ‘Ice’ and it’s downright beautiful. It really goes well together with the exclusive 21” alloy wheels and the dark-tinted stainless steel grille inserts.

Other visual highlights include the bi-xenon headlights with LED main beam support, the sunroof, rear and side-view cameras, plus the dual rifled exhaust outlets. This Bentley also comes with air suspension featuring Continuous Damping Control, Electronic Stability Control, and driver-selectable settings for both damping and power steering.

Meanwhile, the interior features heated, ventilated, massaging, and power-adjustable front seats, upholstered in Linen and leather with diamond-pattern inserts and contrast piping. Furthermore, there are black lacquer and carbon fiber accents, a Naim sound system, lambswool floor mats, alloy pedals, four-zone climate control, power-operated rear window sunshades, and a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel.

It’s worth mentioning that there are some scuffs on the driver’s door jamb, and while we’re at it, we should also note the scrapes on the lower part of the front bumper cover.

In terms of performance, the Mulsanne Speed utilizes a twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V8, factory-rated at 530 horsepower and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) of torque, with everything going to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. In a straight line, this will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard Mulsanne.

As for its top speed, you can presumably hit 190 mph (306 kph) in maximum comfort, although we wouldn’t recommend you doing that – not even on the Autobahn in Germany.

So, what do you guys think, should the seller have accepted the $159k bid, or were they right to hold out for more?
