You probably recall our tribute to American V8-powered Italian cars, such as the Iso Grifo or the De Tomaso Pantera, from a couple of months ago. If not, you might as well check out our coverstory for an interesting read.
If you already know what these cars are all about, dream about them day and night and have a passion for miniature models, than it’s time to put that credit card to good use, because the most detailed 1:18 De Tomaso Pantera has just been launched.
Manufactured by Kyosho, also known for a wide range of Italian and German 1:18 model cars, this De Tomaso Pantera can be had in either red or black, with further versions and colors of the car to follow. Most importantly, it’s way more detailed than the Hot Wheels model that was released a long while ago.
Besides being an excellent scale rendering of the 40-year-old supercar, this Kyosho model also comes with working headlights, doors, hood and front bonnet, posable wheels and a seemingly perfect paint job that make it the perfect display item.
Pricing has yet to be revealed, but expect a price tag of around $150, if not more.
