Danica Patrick Crashes on NASCAR Debut Race

Let’s not kid ourselves, Danica Patrick is in NASCAR basically to boost the sport’s image and fan base. So even though she crashed on the last lap of her debut race in the series, she’s basically doing a good job at attracting attention and grabbing headlines.
On Thursday, Danica was involved in a massive crash on the the first Gatorade Duel qualifying race. She was hit by a car in front of her, slid out of the lower lane and into the barrier. Thankfully, the inner retaining wall did its job and she was unharmed. As the video shows, she managed to protect those “pretty” little wrists of hers by taking her hand off the wheel that could have broken them with whiplash.

Now, all eyes will be on her as she makes her Sprint Cup debut at the Daytona 500 at the Daytona International Speedway.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
