The Dacia Duster crossover has received a refresh in design and equipment, all of which will be officially shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The Duster has enjoyed great success across Europe and has made it as far as India or Brazil under the Renault badge. This new one has a stronger emphasis on 4x4 ruggedness. The front end of the car boasts a redesigned grille with two prominent plates strips at the front.
The headlights are also new, featuring a crisper feel and incorporating new daytime running lights at the top.
The car also received Duster-labeled roof bars with slatted supports and a new 16-inch Dark Metal alloy wheels equipped with "Mud and Snow". At the back, it gets chrome exhaust tip and a fresh design for the taillights.
We're hoping there are some changes inside as well. We've head the new Duster has a refreshed instrument binnacle and has been fitted with cruise control. Spy photographers have also seen an Eco2 button on the 1.5-liter dCi prototypes.
“We built on the appeal of the original model and its proportions. Identity components such as the grille have been modernised. We have also strengthened the 4x4 cues of the vehicle, while keeping all its useful features. New Duster gets an even stronger character while retaining its initial DNA," says David Durand, Head of Styling for the Entry range.
