Dacia and pickup trucks, or should we say pick up vehicles, go hand in hand. After all, you can't make a cheap and frugal car and not expect it to be used by professionals, the kind of folks who change their tires when they're bald and use plastic seat covers.
However, Dacia doesn't offer a pickup any more, not since the Logan became a second generation model. Instead, they offer a variety of practical van models, non of which can cary a bay.
The ultimate Dacia pickup would have to be all-wheel drive, it would have to be based on the Duster. This rendering shows how such a model would look like were it to be based on the facelifted Duster. The rear doors have been chopped off, making this a single-cab vehicle.
Beefy suspension, rugged looks and an affordable price tag make the Duster Pickup the coolest car Renault has never built… yet.
