The Frankfurt Motor Show is almost ready to open its gates and now Dacia has released the full details of the Duster crossover ahead of its world premiere.
The biggest change comes under the hood, where the Duster receives a more muscular 4-cylinder 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol unit. The powerplant delivers 125 hp and 90 percent of its torque from 1,500 rpm. Dacia didn’t provide the maqimum torque figure, but the (almost) same engine delivers 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) at 4,000 rpm on the Renault Captur. As for the efficiency, this sits a 6 liters per 100 km (39.2 mpg).
The vehicle can be gifted with an “Adventure” exterior kit including beefier wheel arches and side sill protection elements. There’s also an “Off-road” pack including a bull bar, as well as side bars in a satin finish.
Apart from the barely noticeable exterior changes, such as the mildy refreshed front fascia, the interior also received a few touches. The cabin elements come almost unchanged from the second generation Dacia Logan, so now the Duster gets a MEDIA NAV infotainment unit.
In addition, there are new seats, as well as fresh materials for the interior. You can get the complete info in the press release below (PDF file).
