Well, if you missed Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auctions between 12-19 January, here’s a crazy Toyota that got a new owner.
This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 40 is probably the most customized one so far. It has so many new parts that only its frame and body reminds of the Toyota’s classic off-roader.
The FJ 40 you see here got a complete restoration job, while also receiving a custom paintwork, custom-made mid-frame hanger, a rollcage, custom raised suspension, off-road Weld wheels with Super Swamper tires as well as custom front and rear bumpers.
But the most craziest mod of all is the Chevy 350 crate engine, which has also been gifted with a Weiand 671 blower, a four-speed automatic transmission, modified carburetors and more, ramping up the sales price up to $47,300 at which it was sold last week. Check it in the photos bellow.
