Chevrolet might be an American brand, but about half their cars or technology comes either from Korea or Germany. One example would be their B-segment crossover, the Trax. It's mechanically identical to the Buick Encore and has been developed for a number of years in Asia before being shipped off to Germany for further testing.
Now, the Chevrolet Trax is back in Korea, where it's being showcased as a funky car for young buyers, just like the Opel Mokka in Europe.
According to Chevrolet, the Tax measures 4,248 mm (167.2 inches) in length, and features a width of 1,776 mm (69.9 inches) and a wheelbase of 2,555 mm (100.6 inches).
"For many decades, Chevrolet has been known for its dependable and capable SUVs," commented Susan Docherty, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet Europe.
The official market debut is scheduled for for February the 25th. Hopefully, GM sees the value of the Trax and sells it in the US this year for a decent price.
