The facelifted version of the Chevrolet Captiva SUV will make its way to next month's Geneva Motor Show for a global debut.
After receiving another facelift last year, the Chevrolet Captiva gained new design and interior changes, probably for the last time before the US-based automaker will be coming up with a new generation model.
This means the Geneva-bound Captiva will show up with redesigned bumpers, including a lowered one for the frond end, new grille, restyled foglamps and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Interior changes feature new seat colors and fabrics, with leather seats for upper versions, and redesigned instrument panel trims.
The 2013 Captiva will gain a comfort update as well, through the introduction of a dual-zone climate system, heated rear seats and ambient lighting package.
"Captiva is the ideal companion for those who want to have some adventure, but feel that they could do with more space, capability and that extra bit of convenience," said susan Docherty, President and Managing Director of Chevrolet and Cadillac Europe.
Aside from the Captiva, Chevrolet will also be showing the smaller Trax SUV in Geneva, with sales expected to commence right after the Swiss event.
