Chevrolet UK has just announced the new Trax crossover is now available from £15,495 on-the-road.
The small crossover is based on the same platform as the Vaxuhall Mokka, but manages to undercut it and a few of its rivals. Two trim levels will be available in Britain, the basic LS and the LT.
The more basic LS still comes with things like Stop-Start technology, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, ESC, cruise control, electric front windows, a trip computer, automatic headlamps, privacy glass, front fog lamps and Hill Start Assist.
Right now, the cheapest Vauxhall Mokka powered by the same 1.6-liter engine with the same FWD system and 5-speed manual costs £15,999, about £500 more. However, the Renault Captur Expresson TCe 90 is cheaper than the Chevrolet Trax at £14,495.
List prices only tell half the story, so to find out if the Trax is the crossover for you, visit the official Chevrolet UK website and start configuring.
