Minivans are the source of endless soccer mom and hockey dad jokes, but they really are also practical models that can engulf a horde of adventurous kids and their luggage or take businesspeople to their next appointment in style and comfort. Plus, the panel versions are also great for hauling things around.
Alas, they are dwindling into oblivion outside the commercial vehicle sector. Stellantis has one of the few minivans left in production by a Detroit automaker for the retail sector – but it's hardly something to write home about the Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid. Aside from the fact that many people think it's entirely avoidable, that is.

But what if you're faced with the dilemma of hauling many goods and people around? Well, there aren't too many options left in the real world. No worries, as the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators always come up with a solution, two, three, or even four – in this particular CGI case.

More precisely, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, has taken up the task of CGI-revealing an all-new family of minivan models from different competitors over a short period. The pixel master started the affair with a big and spacious all-new Ram Promaster with 2025 Ram 1500 design traits instead of the old-school European looks of the current model (which starts from $44,405, by the way).

Secondly, just in case the Promaster may be too big for your business or family needs, the CGI expert brought back to life for a second generation the Chevrolet Venture nameplate – which previously was produced by GM for the 1997 to 2005 model years. The tough truck models also inspire this one in the Chevy lineup, and although it's a dual sliding door minivan, it even gets the Z71 moniker to go along with the design cues.

Thirdly, maybe someone likes the Ford Tourneo Courier- all-new in Europe – but wants it quite a bit larger and tougher to cope with the rigors of American living. No worries, this author has the perfect CGI answer for those desires: a Tourneo Courier sitting above the $34k Transit Connect in the commercial vehicle lineup riddled with DNA taken from the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 best-seller.

Last but not least, the GMC Vandura (also known as the Chevy Van or Chevrolet/GMC G-Series vans) also springs back to a new lease of digital life from the virtual nether. Interestingly, this one marries past and present like a CGI champion – it's got some of the cool vintage traits of the A-Team Vandura age but also the looks and powertrain of the all-new first-ever 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 EV all-electric truck. So, which one is your favorite and why?
