In our book, Porsche 911 colors are split into three categories. There are those that don't stand out, such as plain black or white and those that do, with the latter coming in two forms, namely the screaming ones, such as Miami Blue, and the restrained ones like Chalk.
Let's play a rear-engined game, shall we? We've brought along an example of the 992 Porsche 911 that is dressed in Carrera White Metallic and we're asking you to place it one of the categories mentioned above.
If we take a look at the exhaust tips of this Porscha, we'll notice it comes with the standard setup, as the optional sports exhaust would bring larger, oval tips (one for each side).
And while we're keeping an eye on real-world sightings of the 992, we'll remind you that next year will be loaded with fresh arrivals.
In the first months of 2019, Porsche will bring us the non-S incarnation of the Carrera. This will be followed by the Cabriolets, coming on both S and non-S forms.
Good things come to those who wait, so the final part of the year should see the German automotive producer introducing the 911 Turbo and/or the 911 GT3.
As you'll be able to notice in the spy material behind the links, the prototypes of the two are currently in their final development stages, which means they're using the production bodies.
And the brilliant news is that the GT3 will maintain its naturally aspirated power, as well as its optional manual transmission, as the soundtrack of various test cars has confirmed.
As for the Turbo, we're expecting this to welcome a new engine, while the Turbo S might go through a dramatic change for the 992.2 mid-cycle revamp. To be more precise, this could morph into the Turbo S E-Hybrid, as it has been the case with the Cayenne and the Panamera.
