Bruno Senna Aspirant of 2010 F1 Debut

The Brazillian considers his chances of driving in Formula One next year are far more realistic than last year. The nephew of the late triple Formula 1 champion, Ayrton Senna, had his chances of securing a seat with Honda last year, but then the Japanese manufacturer steped down from the sport.

"This year things seem much more exciting for me as last year it was tough due to Honda (Brawn) not really being prepared to take a risk with a new driver", said the 25-year-old Brazillian this week on a visit to the inaugural Abu Dhabi circuit. "Or maybe I could not prove that I was good enough for them", continued the Brazillian for Gulf News.

For those of you not familiar with Ayrton Senna's nephew, we can assure he really is a talented and balanced driver that built his career in motorsport on his results and not his late uncle's fame. Brunno finished second in the GP2 championship in 2008.

At the beginnig of the year Bruno has turned down an offer from Mercedes to race in the 2009 DTM season. The Brazillian said he is determined to focus on his much desired Formula 1 entry. After being offered a Toro Rosso drive, which he turned down, Bruno is now linked with the Spanish Campos team that will make its F1 debut next season.

"The odds are much better this year and the scenario too is different. So far I have been speaking to at least four F1 teams", revealed Bruno Senna.
