Passionate mechanic Miso Kuzmanivic wanted so much to drive an F1 car that he built his own with help from his friends.
Living in Bosnia and not being able to fulfill his dream of becoming an F1 pilot, Miso decided to build his own race car. The project costs rose to over $30,000 (€23,000) and spanned over two years.
The F1 race car is built on a light spaceframe and it’s powered by a 150 hp Volkswagen engine. Of course, it can’t achieve real F1 speeds, but still manages to top 250 km/h (155 mph), weighting only 1,280 kg (2,821 lb).
Having room for two passengers and meeting all the safety requirements, the car is road legal and Miso often takes it for a drive, turning people’s heads every time. He was even asked to sell it for over $78,000 (€60,000) but he declined the offer.
