Boreham Motorworks and FoMoCo Shake Hands to Bring Back to Life Ford RS200 and Escort Mk1 

The company is an official license partner of the Ford Motor Company, "dedicated to preserving and enhancing the legacy of some of Ford's most iconic vehicles (… and) blends meticulous craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to honor the spirit of classic Ford engineering while catering to the modern automotive enthusiast."

Basically, they're like Singer Vehicle Design if Porsche ever decided to officially do business with the American expert in restomods. Anyway, Boreham isn't a small endeavor – it's instead a division of the DRVN Automotive Group, and they recently signed a new brand license agreement with Ford for "a series of continuation and remastered iconic Ford vehicles."

The first in the series are the legendary Ford RS200 and the Group 5 Ford Escort Mk1. By the way, the Blue Oval company is easily more interested in racing than ever before, as noted by the Ford Mustang GTD's European launch on the eve of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the Mustang GT3 competed or the new title of 'king of the mountain' claimed by the Ford Performance F-150 Lightning SuperTruck at the 102nd running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Back to older racing stars, the series curated by Boreham will consist of both entirely remastered icons built from the ground up as well as "blueprint- accurate continuation vehicles designed to deliver a peak analog driving experience." The DRVN Automotive Group is a luxury automotive sector dweller with facilities in Scotland, Durham, Coventry, and London, as well as various divisions like Boreham, Koenigsegg London, DRVN Advanced Engineering, Evolution E-types, JE MotorWorks, ITG (Induction Technology Group) and Alan Mann Racing.

First of all, the legendary Ford RS200 will celebrate four decades since its arrival in 1984 when it was engineered to take over the reins in the World Rally Championship with a mid-engine layout, an advanced AWD system, as well as a lightweight composite body. It became a true legend in rally racing, and Boreham proposes "an entirely new, ground-up build of a road-legal Group B-inspired drivers' car."

This is the first in at least five iconic Ford vehicles set to be celebrated with the Boreham series – and the second one to come later this year is the 1960s Ford Escort Mk1.
