The 2015 DTM season will get underway on 2nd/3rd May, so we’re just two weeks away from the first race of the year. Therefore, BMW had to unveil its remaining two liveries for its M4 cars before that happens.
That happened at the DTM Media Day in the ‘Motorsport Arena Oschersleben’ just the other day, the two remaining cars being present. Antonio Felix da Costa of BMW Team Schnitzer will be driving the number 13 Red Bull BMW M4 DTM car this year also.
At the same time, the rookie, Tom Blomqvist, will be sitting behind the wheel of the number 31 BMW M4 DTM car from BMW Team RBM this year. They will do doing 18 races aboard these cars over the course of the season, so they were understandably excited about finally getting to race for real this year.
“It wasn't easy being patient,” said Blomqvist after his car had been presented. “Naturally you want a livery that looks spectacular and commands respect from your rivals on the track just from looking at it. I definitely think that's true of my BMW M4 DTM. It's going to be great finally driving the car in its definitive design during testing here in Oschersleben this week.”
