For almost 2 years now, the two titans in the automotive industry began working together to develop a new car and share technologies.
If at first everyone was puzzled of this new joint-venture (some even questioning the unfair competition coming from the two) now we can see clearly where this whole ordeal is heading: a brand new sports car.
According to Motor Trend, the new car will be a revival of some sort of the famous Supra. Their source tells us that the new car will we unveiled somewhere in January 2014 but until then we can expect a concept model to be showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show in November.
The new sports car could be powered by a BMW inline 4-cylinder and the chassis might be developed by Toyota (considering that Tetsuya Tada the person responsible for the GT86 will also be involved in this project) with some help fine tuning it from the M division's engineers.
